Book of Ra RTP: Two Casinos, One Game, Two Figures
In short: Greentube publishes no return for any game in this family, so every checkable figure comes from casinos. Two UK-licensed ones publish different numbers for Book of Ra Deluxe: 92.13% at Admiral Casino and 94.26% at Grosvenor Casinos.
We went looking for a return figure the studio publishes and found none, so we read the casinos instead. Admiral Casino UK prints 92.13% for Book of Ra Deluxe. Grosvenor Casinos prints 94.26% for the same Book of Ra Deluxe. Nine versions of the family have a published figure somewhere, and all of them come from operators rather than from Greentube.
Greentube Publishes No RTP at All
Greentube's own game pages print a game type and a volatility band and stop there: the Key Data table that would hold the return, the licence number, the bet limits and the certificate is replaced by «Client login for more data», read . No return, no ceiling and no rules document anywhere a reader can open. We also traced the demo and the studio's gaming server refused an anonymous session with a 401.
That left one source with an obligation to publish: the casinos. In several markets an operator must disclose the return of the version it runs, and the figures below are what two of them published.
Two Casinos, One Game, a 2.13-Point Gap
Admiral Casino UK publishes 92.13% for Book of Ra Deluxe. The same block gives a max win multiplier of x5010 and a bet range of £0.10 to £5. Grosvenor Casinos publishes 94.26% for Book of Ra Deluxe, a ceiling of 5000x the LINE bet, and a range of 1p to £20 — so the two casinos disagree about all three figures, not just the return.
Both are licensed in the same market and both disclose, as required. Neither figure need be an error: the same title ships in more than one return configuration and each casino discloses the one it runs. With no studio document, though, that cannot be checked here. It does mean the game's return is a property of your casino rather than of the game.
The Lowest Figure Is the Maker's Own
Admiral is a Novomatic brand, and Greentube is Novomatic's online arm. The lowest published configuration we found is therefore running inside the studio's own corporate group.
We are not alleging anything improper; running a lower-return configuration is permitted. It is worth stating because it contradicts the natural assumption that the maker's own casino would run the friendliest version.
Why Archived Pages, and What That Costs
Grosvenor's live pages refuse us. A request from here returns 403 whether it comes from a plain fetch or a full browser, which is ordinary geo-blocking. We therefore read archived copies and date every figure to the day the archive captured it.
That is weaker evidence than a live page and we mark it as such. It is still far stronger than a catalogue, because the page was published by the operator running the game and the date is verifiable.
Compared with a Studio That Publishes
Play'n GO prints five RTP configurations for Book of Dead in one public table, with the default marked. That lets a reader hold an operator's figure against the studio's own list. Nolimit City publishes a single return figure for Book of Shadows machine-readably.
Here there is no list to hold anyone to. If two operators disagree — and they do — there is no higher document to settle it, which is the practical cost of a studio publishing nothing.
No Book of Ra Figure Belongs to the Original
Every percentage on this page belongs to a named later version, and there are nine of them. For the original Book of Ra, the one named without a suffix, no licensee figure has been confirmed at all. Greentube publishes no release date for it either, so this page does not state one.
That is not the same as a low return. It is the absence of a figure, and it is the reason this page cannot tell you what the original pays. In the markets that require disclosure, a casino running it has to state the build it runs, so for those markets the number exists somewhere — just not anywhere we could read it.
What a Player Can Actually Do
Read the return the casino you intend to use states in its own game information, on the day you intend to play. That is the figure that applies to your session, and in several markets it has to be published.
We do not recommend using any catalogue percentage for this family. Eight different published returns are in circulation across the family, and not one of them comes from a studio document. The operator pages above show why a single number was never going to be right.
